Small Businesses Bringing the Jobs Back

January 6, 2012 by Jacqui Washington, MBA No Comments »

According to MSNBC.com the job market is making a back due to small businesses hiring and larger companies focus is on higher growth market outside the U.S. Job seekers’ when looking for jobs you may want to consider looking at your local small business as a first. Since the recession in 2007 job opening and hiring hit the second highest levels last month, according to a survey of the National Federation of Independent Businesses. The government published an estimated figure that the economy added an average of 155,000 jobs in December.
Four years ago smaller business laid off and fired people. Now those jobs lost in the beginning of the recession are coming back. ADP disclosed in a report during the month of December larger companies added 37,000 jobs while smaller business showed a net gain of 325,000 jobs.

I’m so proud to be a part of helping job seekers getting hired, but you know the saying ‘Rome was not built in a day’? So…slowly but surely and in time everyone will get their jobs back. Stay focus, continue to be persistent and get help with your job search efforts.
