Why no response after I sent a follow up? The purpose of the follow up due to a job application or an interview. If you followed up after a job application and sent it by email the issue maybe what you put in the subject line. If your statement in the subject line is general and not something that will make the reader want to open the email, that’s what you’ll get (delete) not read. Click Tips2GetaJob Podcast to hear the rest of the show.

In this episode, here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Reason for following up
  • Decide to send via email or mail
  • Make your subject line grab the reader’s attention
  • Send the follow up letter to a specific person
  • Have a professional email address
  • Create an email address without numbers and symbols
  • Eliminate the possibility of age discrimination
